What are ASM & GSM?

ASM: Additional Surveillance Measure
SEBI and Exchanges have implemented ASM to enhance market integrity and safeguard the interest of investors. Measures include reducing the price band, periodic call auctions, and transferring securities to the Trade for Trade segment. Securities under ASM are identified based on parameters like price/volume variation and volatility.

Buying in ASM shares is allowed with Infinn, but intraday trading and BTST are not permitted (even with or without DDPI).

GSM: Graded Surveillance Measure

GSM is designed by SEBI to monitor shares that show abnormal price rises. It places such shares under different levels of surveillance to ensure market integrity.

Infinn does not currently provide trading in GSM category shares.
