What is the difference between the Date and value date in the back office?
In your financial ledger, there are 2 options: One is DATE, and another is VALUE DATE.
Date: The timestamp for when the transaction is created in the system.
Value Date: A value date is a future date that is used for determining the present value of a product or security that fluctuates in price.
It is the date at which funds, assets, or money's value becomes effective.
