How to Create a Mandate manually?

Step 1. First, go to the “Menu” in the Mint app, open “Manage Profiles”, and select “Add Mandate”.


Step 2. Here, you will see the client’s bank details.


Step 3. Now choose Mandate Type: NACH, and enter the mandate amount — usually ₹2,00,000 or ₹5,00,000 is recommended.


Step 4. After this, click on “Submit” and then click on “Activate”. Within 90 seconds, your verification link will be generated. Then click on “Continue”.


Step 5. Now click on “Send OTP”, and enter the OTP received on your email.


Step 6. On the next page, choose the Verification Mode: Debit Card, Net Banking, or Aadhaar.


Step 7. Submit and click “Proceed”, then enter your details.


Step 8. After verification, you will receive a final OTP from the bank — enter that as well.


Wait for a few seconds…

And your mandate will be created successfully.
