Step 1. First, open the Mint App.
Step 2. Go to the “Menu” and select “New Investment”.
Step 3. Choose your Investor Profile and click “Proceed”.
Step 4. Now, select SIP.
Step 5. Choose the Mutual Fund House whose plan you want to invest in.
Step 6. Select the Scheme Type—for example, Multicap, ELSS, Large Cap, etc.
Step 7. In Transaction Mode, choose “DEMAT”.
Step 8. In the Scheme Plan, select the “Growth Option”.
Step 9. Choose SIP “Frequency as Monthly”.
Step 10. Pick the SIP Date, the day on which the amount will be deducted every month.
Step 11. Don’t forget to select the Maximum Period.
Most important:
Select your “Approved Mandate”.
If you do not select a mandate, the SIP will not be auto deducted.
Step 12. Enter the SIP Amount—for example, ₹1,000.
Step 13. Click “Place Order”.
Step 14. Check your Investor Details and press “Pay Now”.
For payment:
Choose Direct Pay (Net Banking/Debit Card), or enter your UPI ID. A request will come in your UPI app—just approve it.
And that’s it! Your first SIP payment will be completed, and future SIPs will be auto deducted via the approved mandate.
